Mis on Design Factory?

DMY International Design Festival Berlin
June 9 - 13, 2010

Dear designers and friends of DMY, we are happy to announce the date & venue for next year's DMY International Design Festival 2010. From June 9 to 13, Berlin will again be filled with all the bliss contemporary design can engender. From workshops to exhibitions, from lectures to installations, from objects to performances, the festival presents forward-thinking, critical and artistic projects as well as a trade show of advanced products in the fields of design.

The festival will take place at a new main venue: The stunning architecture of tresorm, a former generating plant, right in the heart of Berlin-Mitte offers a unique place to re-unite all festival modules at one central place. Here you will find the festival's main exhibition including the Allstars area (market-mature products by established designers and companies) as well as the Youngsters area (forward-thinking and experimental concepts and projects by upcoming designers). Coming from the exhibition, you can just change floors and join the numerous festival events such as the Awards show, the Symposium, Workshops or Pecha Kucha Night.

We are looking forward to your submissions until February 28, 2010. You can apply for the modules Youngsters, Allstars as well as Extended (self-initiated special exhibtions during the festival period throughout the city). Please check our website for further details dmy-berlin.com/en
This year, we offer a special discount for early adopters: If you apply for one of the modules until December 31, 2009, you will save 20 % participation fees. 

DMY Berlin is a contemporary design platform founded in 2003. It developed from a disionary nucleus of leading creative thinkers from the Berlin design scene, whose expertise lay in the recognition and transformation of current as well as coming trends in culture and design.
